Moving right along... Today's theme is Saiyuki. I like Koumyou Sanzo. He's such a darling.
Do you people know how hard it is to walk around all day wearing jeans and a turtleneck under those robes? I think he deserves an icon just for that. Photoshop CS2; Fonts are Vladimir Script, and 0403b, which I strayed away from for a while but dug back out for this icon. Subtle but legible. A lot of color-work on this, and blending, as well. Some brushwork in the background, though unfortunately my freehand isn't as good when I feel like i'm about to keel over and pass out.. also not when i'm using a computer that lags like its dying whenever I try to draw a straight line. Ho hum.
