Moving right along... Today's theme is Saiyuki. I like Koumyou Sanzo. He's such a darling.

Do you people know how hard it is to walk around all day wearing jeans and a turtleneck under those robes? I think he deserves an icon just for that.

Photoshop CS2; Fonts are Vladimir Script, and 0403b, which I strayed away from for a while but dug back out for this icon. Subtle but legible. A lot of color-work on this, and blending, as well. Some brushwork in the background, though unfortunately my freehand isn't as good when I feel like i'm about to keel over and pass out.. also not when i'm using a computer that lags like its dying whenever I try to draw a straight line. Ho hum.

Thank you. :D :D I love it when people love Koumyou! ;3 The robes are extremely hot, and occasionally they try to trip me, but it's still so much fun, especially when people try to jump into the spacious sleeves! Haha.

Sanzo is one of the best fictional character ever...

You did a great job with this Icon, it suits him just fine, especially with the sepia tones... He really should not live so much in the past, but meh... It wouldn't be him anymore if he stopped to do so ^^'
